Description

We're looking for a motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join a well-run family farm based in Lincoln, Canterbury from August through until January.

Responsibilities

• Calving and calf rearing
• Milking and milk quality
• General stock work and animal health
• Fencing and general farm maintenance
• Irrigation shifts
• Feeding out and pasture work
• Machinery and tractor work (mowing, baling, wrapping, and feed management)

Requirements

• Previous dairy farming or stock experience
• Tractor experience is essential
• Must have a Working Holiday Visa (WHV) that allows work for the same employer from August to January
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
• Physically fit and reliable
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
