Description

Seasonal apple pruning position in Gisborne orchards to maintain tree health and maximize fruit production.

Responsibilities

• Pruning apple trees using hand tools and orchard equipment
• Following pruning instructions and quality standards
• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Assisting with general orchard maintenance as required
• Working safely as part of a team

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Previous orchard or pruning experience preferred but training will be provided
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Good level of English language
• Must have a valid work visa or legal right to work in New Zealand
• Own Transport
