Description

Seasonal apple tree pruning work requiring physical fitness and ability to work at heights using tools and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Select and remove branches to enable tree development for ideal crop production
• Remove large branches using saw or chainsaw
• Remove smaller branches using loppers, hydraulic loppers, and secateurs
• Work from ladders or hydralada platforms to reach tree tops
• Lift and shift orchard ladders
• Work at height on ladders or platforms

Requirements

• Currently in New Zealand with valid work visa if applicable
• Willing to commit to at least 5 days per week
• No fear of heights
• Physically strong and able
• Own transport and ability to obtain accommodation
