Description

Combined role teaching Year 5 curriculum and supporting boutique accommodation operations at a high country station.

Responsibilities

• Teach English and Maths to Year 5 student following NZ curriculum
• Coordinate literacy and maths online classes
• Encourage art skills through painting activities
• Transport child to extracurricular activities (gymnastics, ice hockey, horse riding)
• Support housekeeping of two boutique accommodations
• Manage booking.com and Airbnb listings
• Prepare student's lunch as needed
• Log schoolwork on Te Kura website

Requirements

• Full driving licence and confident driving on left side
• Teacher qualification or minimum 2 years teaching assistant experience
• English as first language
• Self-directed and highly motivated
• Organized with good time management
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to motivate student to learn
• Working Holiday Visa required
• New Zealand bank account and IRD number
