Structured, supportive workplace experience within tourism and hospitality for Ngāi Tahu whānui.

Responsibilities

• Guide visitors through the All Blacks Experience in Tāmaki Makaurau
• Work in retail and guest experience roles across businesses
• Connect with land, animals, and visitors at Agrodome, Rotorua
• Support guest experiences at Dark Sky Project, Takapō
• Support glacier adventures with Franz Josef Glacier Guides
• Support guest experiences that reflect Ngāi Tahu values, stories, and pride
• Gain experience across customer service, operations, and behind-the-scenes roles

Requirements

• Registered Ngāi Tahu member
• Physically fit for hands-on tourism environment
• Able to commit to full-time placement, minimum 32 hours per week
• Open to living independently or in shared accommodation
• Bring enthusiasm, reliability, and strong willingness to learn
• Enjoy working with people and being part of a team
• Year 13 or above, or have completed school
