Experienced duty manager for busy Auckland restaurant overseeing operations, staff, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of day-to-day operations
• Managing inventory
• Training staff
• Creating and executing beverage programs
• Maintaining high levels of customer service
• Creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for guests
• Working closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant role, preferably in high-volume environments
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Deep understanding of reservation and waitlist systems, EFTPOS, and POS operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Current GM Certificate and LCQ preferred
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
