Description

Combined role teaching a Year 5 student and supporting boutique accommodation operations at a scenic hill station in Tekapo.

Responsibilities

• Home school NZ Year 5 curriculum including English, Maths, and core subjects
• Manage online literacy and maths classes and log progress on Te Kura website
• Encourage art skills through painting and outdoor sports activities
• Transport child to gymnastics, ice hockey, or horse riding lessons
• Perform housekeeping for two boutique accommodation huts
• Manage Booking.com and Airbnb bookings and operations
• Support with general house tidying and meal preparation

Requirements

• Full driving licence and confidence driving on left-hand side of road
• Teacher qualification or minimum 2 years as teaching assistant
• English as first language
• Self-directed with strong organizational skills
• Good time management and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Working Holiday Visa, NZ bank account, and IRD number
