Description

Experienced forklift operator role in a busy potato harvesting operation during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts in a busy grading shed and yard environment
• Moving, stacking, and tipping potato bins efficiently and safely
• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
• Keeping product flowing through grading machinery without delays
• Managing bin movements across yard and cool store areas
• Supporting overall efficiency during peak harvest

Requirements

• Proven forklift experience in a busy packhouse or high-volume environment
• F endorsement preferred
• Strong awareness of safety in fast-paced, tight spaces
• Ability to work under pressure and keep things moving
• Reliability and commitment through to season end (early June)
• Team player with a positive attitude
